Diwali which is a traditional festival of Hindus falls on 30th October this year. The celebration of the festival has more to offer you with an array of holidays that follows it and continues till 3rd November. This makes Diwali 2016 a perfect merry making time and lots of quality time to be spent with the family and friends.

Diwali is not just a festival, but it has attached so many stories to it. Perhaps most of you know. Diwali celebration is not a matter of a day or so. The preparation of Diwali goes on for months before the day. As it is believed that on this day Goddess Luxmi pays a visit to a cleaned and a decorated home. So with the aim of inviting Goddess Luxmi people try their best.

The entire house is whitewashed and all the construction (if any) is completed beforehand so that people have enough time to rest and decorate their house. People look forward to it throughout the year as it brings lots of good times and merrymaking in the family.

People love to buy new gadgets, electrical appliances, clothes, jewelry; decorative items, etc. where grown up people goes out shopping for these things children love to buy crackers and new clothes.
